The Energy Equipment and Infrastructure Alliance (EEIA) has provided IMA-NA with a Shale Supply Intel report.
The Bottom Line: A production turnaround is approaching, with both crude oil and natural gas supply and demand coming into balance as demand grows and supply gains are limited. This has supported higher prices for both crude oil and natural gas, and a few well-positioned producers are putting rigs back to work. Production growth will be slow but steady, and uneven with respect to geography. The near months of the recovery will be limited by big inventory overhangs. But the overall direction has changed from negative to positive, and companies should stay closely tuned to new supply opportunities.
