The IMA-NA Transportation Committee will meet on Thursday, September 17, 2015 at the Breakers Resort in Palm Beach, Florida, as part of the 2015 IMA-NA Annual Meeting. The meeting will take place from 3:15 PM - 5:45 PM in the Magnolia Room. We are excited to announce our first two speakers.
Patrick Cozzens will be addressing the Committee on issues impacting the trucking industry. Some of the issues that will likely be covered are the various new legislative and regulatory issues impacting the trucking industry, including increased over the road weights, spending on infrastructure to improve service as our roads continue to become more congested.

Covering an update on the rail industry will be Benjamin Banks with BNSF Railway. Ben will focus his talk on the overall rail situation, including: service improvements and infrastructure, as well as compliance with PTC and its potential effect on railroad efficiencies.
